Here's a cover of The Small Faces "Sorry She's Mine"
by the Dutch band Sandy Coast
Quite tame in comparison to Jimmy Winston & His Reflections

Jimmy Winston

Here are Sonny & Cher performing their greatest hit
"I Got You Babe" followed by a rendition of "It's Gonna Rain"
The performance is quite unusual, I mean their gestures,
their moves, definitely not common during the 60's
He is undoubtlessly a great artist, but the face of Sonny Bono
always seemed strange to me and look at the pants of Cher!
Where did she get those?!
By the way, that's a nice hat...

Well, the caption says it all : three great men with Elvis!

Too Many People - The Leaves
Great to see them "live"

The Tams performing "Hey Girl, Don't Bother Me" on
Top Of The Pop on December 27, 1971

Fire

The fabulous Miracles performing "You've Really Got A Hold On Me"
on Shindig!

The Smoke performing their hit song "My Friend Jack"

Cool performance of "Love Special Delivery" by Thee Midniters

What a wonderful pic of a tremendously skillful & soulful duo!

High School Confidential - Jerry Lee Lewis

The Lords performing "I'm A Hog For You Baby" on

The Beatles Cartoon TV Series Episode 5

Movie Of The Week
/
Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls (1970)

Well, I didn't find the theatrical trailer, but what I found
is a lot better : the party scene featuring
The Strawberry Alarm Clock
"This is my party, and it freaks me out !"
That is a cast of girls !

Apparently, Russ Meyer, the director of this film, is specialised
in weird movies with beautiful girls with or without bikinis!
(Common Law Cabin, anyone?)

Note that I didn't know anything about this movie apart from
the fact that The Strawberry Alarm Clock play in before I decided
to feature as the movie of the week
but now I'm definitely considering watching it

The Carrie Nations performing "Sweet Talkin' Candyman" at the party
"I'd would like to strap you on some time"

Here's a last one by The Carrie Nations
"Find It"

I can tell you that this film looks pretty psychedelic since I saw both
King Arthur and Nazis in excerpts of it...
