Check the following video on Youtube
(I don't know why, but I can't display it on the blog) :
Ain't That A Shame - Fats Domino
A classy performance of "Ain't That A Shame" by Fats Domino
This is from the movie "Shake, Rattle And Rock" released in 1956
I saw it some years ago, and it's a funny and entertaining one
Obviously (regarding to the title), Big Joe Turner makes a wonderful appearance in it

I Can't Explain - The Who

Twine Time - Alvin Cash & The Crawlers
Probably in Shivaree

Terry Callier

Richard "Popcorn" Wylie

Dino, Desi & Billy (from left to right)

Bill Haley & His Comets performing "See You Later Alligator"
in the movie "Rock Around The Clock" (1956)

The Beatles cartoon TV series episode 11 part 1

Part 2

And the Part 3

Movie Of The Week
/
Shake, Rattle & Rock (1956)

Well, after watching this great video of Fats Domino
I couldn't help featuring this particular flick
Dig the music, the dance, the hang-out place
and their goofie animator :
"Annitta Ray, singing slum teen!" Oh, well!

It's "rock and roll vs. the squares" in this classic 1950s rock and roll film starring Touch (Mike) Connors as a deejay whose plans to open a teen music club meet with opposition from the stuffy town leaders.

Cool teen dance and jitterbug scenes. Rock n roll by: Fats Domino, Big Joe Turner, Tommy Charles. Lisa Gaye, Sterling Holloway, Raymond Hatton, Douglas Dumbrille, Margaret Dumont. Shake, Rattle and Rock!
The Video Beat

Big Joe Turner with Choker Campbell & His Band performing"Fellin' Happy" in front of an enthousiastic crowd!
Trouble is coming!
The filmed performances of Big Joe are definitely
the apex of the flick
